Return to Heaste and Loch Eishort

The Scottish Coastal Clean Up project are bringing their boat, the Curlew, back to Skye towards the end of September, to have another go at removing debris from the coastline around Heaste. They first came here in May 2024, and removed a staggering 3 tonnes of mainly plastic debris over three days of working there. This year they will be operating out of the pontoons at the road end at Heaste from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th September, so if you would like to come and help please join us down there!
